Organizational Statement
- An experienced and flexible teaching artist, Ann Marie has been passionate about using the creative process with students since 2004. Ann Marie teaches drama, dance, and arts integration. Ann Marie appreciates the way that arts education can help students develop many valuable life skills and habits, like collaboration, creativity, and problem solving. Ann Marie earned her BA in Theatre from the University of Puget Sound, and completed the SCT Teaching Artist Summer Internship and School Year Apprenticeship in 2004-2005 and the ArtsWA-sponsored TAT Lab (Teaching Artist Training Lab) in 2012. In 2013, Ann Marie participated in the National Teaching Artist Seminar at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
