Organizational Statement Jéhan Òsanyìn is an artist and educator who lives and plays in the Pacific Northwest. She moved to Seattle in 2010 and now calls this her permanent home. In 2013 she founded Earthseed, a youth development organization that uses theatre in wild spaces to decolonize those spaces and the bodies that pass through them. Within those experiences, she uses theatre as a tool to explore identity development and facilitate social emotional growth.
She received her undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts with a focus in Acting from Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts. After working for her alma mater, Milton Hershey School, in Hershey, PA she began her Master’s coursework at Prescott College focusing on Experiential Education and Adolescent Racialized Identity Development.

As a result, for shorter term residencies I do not recommend seeking an audience focused performance. Residencies that are 3 months (72 hours) are able to work toward a high quality public performance.
